Great labor of love.
Thank you so much!
Just saw this now for the first time. Sounds super interesting! I will check it out!
Thank you for checking it out!
Just stumbled across this- I haven't dug into the content yet but the design and layout of the pdf alone is delightful, something I have never described a TTRPG rulebook as before. The layout, woodcut illustrations, disclaimers and footnotes at the bottom of the page, all of it is so good at creating what i consider to be a 'discworld atmosphere', and that's before I've even seen the rules (which, to your credit, do look well put together and fun)! Looking forward to using this in the future, it seems like a blast!
Why, thank you so much! Happy to make you happy!
I'm loving what I'm seeing so far except the werewolves being lumped in with the undead. I think sir Terry made the distinction explicitly in one of the books as well: while they are magical, as long as you can procreate sexually (either in wolf form or human) you're not undead. Can't wait to read all of it!
Thank you! Yes, I have already thought about that very prejudiced and unfortunate clumping together, but I haven't got enough of a reason yet to put together a 3rd edition. In a possible update I will make sure to amend this. :)
Can't wait to give it a go!
Yay! If you care to share please tell me what you think afterwards!
I cannot believe that such a well-made game is free. Thank you! I'll definitely will play it someday, when I'll find enough Discworld fans :~)
Also I'm a wee bit disapointed that some part of magic does not use a d8 dice
Thank you so much! Those words warms my heart. Tell me about your experience running the game, I'd love to hear about it!
The d8 idea I will pick up from you and use. If I may?
Of course you may, please do
:D Thank you.
Now there is a D8 in the optional magic rules, found in the C.E.C system :
Cool :D
In just two days my game has been downloaded no less than 1,662 times! Thank you all so much!
